You can put this solution on YOUR website! If all 750 seats were adult, the revenue would be 750 * $47 = 35,250
The actual revenue is 26,637. 35,250-26,637 = 8613
The difference in ticket price between adult and child is 47-20=27
Divide 8613 by 27 to get 319, the number of child's tickets
319 child tickets at 20 = $6,380
That leaves 750-319= 431 adult tickets at $47 = $20,257
$20,257 + $6,380 = $26,637

You can put this solution on YOUR website! a+c=750,
47*a+20*c=26637
a=750-c
47*(750-c)+20*c=26637
35250-47c+20*c=26637
-27*c=-8613
c=319
a=750-c
a=431 at $47 and c=319 at $20
check
431+319=750
47*a+20*c=26637
47*431+20*319=26637
20257+6380=26637
26637=26637
ok
