Substitute the value of the orange (R) from the first equation into the second.
7B = 9(B-20)
7B = 9B-180
Add 180 to each side
180 + 7B = 9B
Subtract 7B from each side
180 = 2B
Divide each side by 2
B = 90
If a banana has 90 calories, then the orange has 70 calories
7(90) = 9(70)
630 = 630
