You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 3 years ago, the sum was 56, then their present sum is 56+3+3+3 = 65.
A + B + L = 65
B = 1%2F3A
L = A-5
Take the known values from the bottom equation and put them into the top
A + B + L = 65
A +1%2F3A + (A-5) = 65
21%2F3A - 5 = 65
21%2F3A = 70
Divide each side by 21%2F3
A = 30
If Allen is 30, then Betty is 10, and Luz is 25
