1st:: Plot the point (2,0) on the x-axis.

Note: slope means (change in y)/(change in x)
--------------
Your Problem:
slope = -5/1
change in y = -5 when change in x is 1.
-----------------
2nd: Put your pencil on (2,0):
Then::
Move your pencil as follows::
x = +1 to the right to the point (1,2)
Then
y = -5 downward to the point (1,-3)
----
Plot (1,-3)

Last:: Draw a line thru (2,0), (1,-3)
------------------
That is the graph you want.
