so, let's numbers be 16x and 16y
if first one is 16x, then next one must be 2%2A16x=32x which is equal to16y

if the sum of these two numbers is 384, we have 16x%2B16y=16x%2B32x=384
16x%2B32x=384 ...solve for x
48x=384
x=384%2F48
x=8
so, your numbers are 16x=16%2A8=128 and 16y=32x=32%2A8=256
check their sum: 128%2B256=384
