You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In 1 hour, Billy travels 10 miles.
However, he's only riding half an hour.
How many miles in half an hour? What is half of 10?
Billy's home is 5 miles from the park.

30 mins = x% of one hour
One hour = 60 mins
30%2F60 = 1%2F2
1%2F2 * rate of speed (10 mph) = 5 miles

Distance = rate * time
Distance = 10mph * 1%2F2hr
Distance = 10mph%2F2
Distance = 5 miles
