evalute each function for the value specified:
f(x)= x (to the second power) - 7x +10,
find (a) f(0), (b)f(5), and (c) f(-2)

f(x) = x^2-7x+10
a) f(0) = 0^2-7*0+10 = 0-0+10 = 10

b) f(5) = 5^2-7*5+10 = 25-35+10 = 35-35 = 0

c) f(-2) = (-2)^2-7(-2)+10 = 4+14+10 = 28

f(0) = 10, f(5) = 0, and f(-2) = 28

Answer:

f(x) = x%5E2+-+7x+%2B+10+


To find f(0), what you have to do is replace x by 0 in the given function.

==> f(0) = 0%5E2+-+7%2A0+%2B+10+


==> f(0) = 0 - 0 + 10


==> f(0) = 10



Similarly...


f(5) = 5%5E2+-+7%2A5+%2B+10+


f(5) = 25+-+30+%2B+10+

f(5) = 5



f(-2) = %28-2%29%5E2+-+7%2A%28-2%29+%2B+10+


==> f(-2) = 4++%2B+14++%2B+10+
