You can put this solution on YOUR website!

There are 1200 students at Jones High School.
10 percent=10%2F100=0.1 of them is 1200+%2A0.1=120

so, 120 students did not read any novels last semester

now, to find out how many read at least one novel last semester, subtract 120 from 1200:
1200-120=1080
so, 1080 students read at least one novel last semester
