Question 90624: Please help me to solve this problem.
A cylindrical glass tube closed at one end has a radius of 5 centimeters. It is filled with Mercury up to the brim. If the mass of the metal is about 300 grams and its density id 13.7 g/cm3, what is the height of the cylinder?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
mass of Hg is 300 ... density is 13.7 ... volume is 300/13.7 or 21.9 cm3

volume of cylinder is pi*r^2*h ... h=v/(pi*r^2) ... h=21.9/(pi*25) ... h=.279 cm
