Question 905868: Use the Rational zeros theorem to find all real zeros of each polynomial functions. Use the zeros to factor f over the real numbers.

1. f(x)= (x^4)-(x^3)-(6x^2)+4x+8

You can put this solution on YOUR website! f(x)= x^4-x^3-6x^2+4x+8

f(x) = (x-2)^2 (x^2+3x+2)
f(x) = (x-2)^2 (x+1)(x+2)
zeros are 2 (twice) -1 and -2
factors of 8
1,8,2,4
-1,-8,-2,-4
fortunately it was the lower numbers
