x = 13/25

2. 2(x - 5)^2 = 3
(x - 5)^2 = 3/2
x - 5 = sqrt(3/2)
x = 5 - sqrt(3/2) --> Two answers due to sqrt.
x = 5 + sqrt(3/2)
