You can put this solution on YOUR website! .7x+.2(44-x)=.3*44
.7x+8.8-.2x=13.2
.5x=13.2-8.8
.5x=4.4
x=4.4/.5
x=8.8 gal of 70% solution.
44-8.8=35.2 gal. of 20% solution
proof
.7*8.8+.2*35.2=13.2
6.16+7.04=13.2
13.2=13.2
