You can put this solution on YOUR website!

solve by substitution method:
x=y+3
3x-2y=4
x = y+3..........(1)
3x-2y = 4...........(2)
substituting for x from eq'n (1) in eq'n (2) we get

3(y+3)-2y = 4
3y+9-2y = 4
y = -9+4 = -5
substitute for y in eq'n(1) we get x = -5+3 = -2
The solution for the given eq'ns is x = -2 and y = -5
