X^2+X-6=0 YOU NEED TO FIND 2 FACTORS OF 6 THAT HAVE A DIFFERENCE OF 1.
THE FACTORS ARE (1&-6),(-1&6),(2&-3),(-2&3).
THE ONLY SET THAT HAS A DIFFERENCE OF 1 IS -2+3=1.
THUS THE FACTORS OF THE EQUATION ARE:
(X+3)(X-2)=0
