Question 902510: I don't get this problem on transforming formulas. The did the problem and got a answer, but when I used the thing to simplify it it said I was wrong. This is what I did.
W= p(V-L), for L
W= pV-pL
-pV -pV

Then I divided p by pV-W and p. so I got L= W-pV/p

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
W= p(V-L), for L
W=pV-pL
W-pV=pL
(W-pV)/p=L
L=(W-pV)/p
Be sure you put the parentheses or reduce
L=W/p-pV/p
which becomes
L=W/p-V
