Question 901646: Hello, first I would just like to say that this website is amazing, can't describe how much this website helped me.
My question is rather simple, the question asked for the function values which I did, but what I want to know is what would the answer be?
The answer I've gotten after substituting the value was 6 and 3.
so how would I write it as a final answer?
(6,3) [6,3] or?...Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A function is a relationship between values: Each of its input values gives back exactly one output value.
Let's say your input values are x and x', then
f(x) = 6 and f(x') = 3, remember x and x' are values in the function's domain and 6 and 3 are values in the function's range, therefore we have the two points on the graph of the function
(x, 6) and (x', 3)
