Let price of 1 goat and 1 sheep, be G, and S, respectively
 Then, 12G + 12S = 600____12(G + S) = 12(50)____G + S = 50 ------ eq (i)
 Also, S = 2G ------ eq (ii)
 G + 2G = 50 -------- Substituting 2G for S in eq (i)
 3G, or 3 goats cost: $

------ Substituting for G in eq (ii) S, or price of 1 sheep =
  , or $ Price of 3 goats and 1 sheep: 50 + 33.33, or $
