Ok so our assignment is to translate word problems into algebraic equations. -- The length of a rectangle is 2cm more than 5 times the width. The perimeter is 196cm. Find the width and length. -- In the directions we have to indentify our variable, write an equation, show work, and solve. PLEASE help me, my teacher didnt do a good job at explaining this to us!

What info did they supply in the question about the length and width?
How can you write that in algebra?
