Question 901299: The big c farm is divided into 6 parts. The largest part is 1,100 acres, and the second largest part is 1,059 acres, the third and fourth largest parts are 950 acres and 800 acres. If the sizes of the other parts of the farm follow the same pattern, what are the sizes of the two smallest parts of the farm?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the pattern appears to be the following:

difference from one to the next.
- 1*41
- 2*41 - 27
- 3*41 - 27
if this pattern continues, then the last two should have a difference of:
- 4*41 - 27
- 5*41 - 27

that would make the acres:
1100
-41 = 1059
-2*41 - 27 = 950
-3*41 - 27 = 800
-4*41 - 27 = 609
-5*41 - 27 = 377
