2x^2-5x+2=0
Thank you for your help!!1 Answer by tutorcecilia(2152) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2x^2-5x+2=0 [factor using trial-and-error to find the middle and the last term]
(2x-1)(x-2)=0
2x-1=0 [set each factor equal to zero and solve for the x-term]
2x=1
x=1/2
and
x-2=0
x=2
.
So, x = 1/2 or x = 2
.
check by plugging the values of (x) back into the original equation and solve
