You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The value of Lindsey's 9 coins is $0.57. She has 3 kinds of coins. What kinds of coins does Lindsey have? How many of each kind does she have? ( hint there is more than one answer)

Note that .57c consist of AT LEAST 2 pennies
If 1 50c coin, or 1%2F2-dollar, and 2 pennies, then 6 (9 - 1 - 2) more coins are needed to make the remaining 5c.
This is NOT POSSIBLE!! Therefore, no 1%2F2-dollar, or 50c coins are included.
Besides yours, I didn't see any other combination involving quarters.
If 4 10c coins, or 4 dimes, and 2 pennies, then 3 (9 - 4 - 2) more coins are needed to make the remaining 15c.
This is POSSIBLE, as 3 nickels do make 5c. Therefore, she could have:
highlight_green%28system+%284_dimes%2C+2_pennies%2C+3_nickels%29%29
I didn't see any other combination involving dimes and nickels.
Besides the combination you found, I don't see any other. Thereby, only two seem to exist.
