Area is not the same as distance. The problem description and question are too poorly formed. The description MUST give enough information to determine a length and maybe direction. The description gives no indication about shape of Folsom; nor anything about dimensions.

not enough info. We have no idea in which direction you are walking nor the length of the walk.
25.000 sq miles means nothing.
Folsom could be 1.0 miles wide and 25.00 miles long
or it could be 2.50 by 10 miles.
or it could be 5 by 5 miles
