You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We use the pythagorean theorem to find the missing side of the right triangle.

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

3^2 + b^2 = (sqrt(10))^2

9 + b^2 = 10

b^2 = 10 - 9

b^2 = 1

b = sqrt(1)

b = 1

The missing side is 1 unit.
