You can put this solution on YOUR website!

let's number be x
the sum of twice a number and 13 is 2x%2B13
and the difference between -41 and the number is -41-x
if 2x%2B13 less than +-41-x, we have

2x%2B13%3C+-41-x ....solve for x
2x%2Bx%3C+-41-13
3x%3C+-54
x%3C+-54%2F3
x%3C+-18
so, solution is all real numbers x%3C+-18,
{ -19,-20,-21.....}

check for x=-19 first on less than -18:
2x%2B13%3C+-41-x
2%2A%28-19%29%2B13%3C+-41-%28-19%29
-38%2B13%3C+-41%2B19
-25%3C+-22 which is true

the sum of twice a number and 13 less than the number is the difference between -41 and the number what is the number

Let number be N
2N + (N – 13) = - 41 – N
3N – 13 = - 41 – N
3N + N = - 41 + 13
4N = - 28
N, or number = %28-+28%29%2F4, or highlight_green%28-+7%29
