You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if the number of cars buyers in Texas is 8912 and the number cars buyers in Alabama is 11977 then in Alabama is sold 11977-8912=3065 more cars.
to find what is the change in percentage (x%25 or x%2F100) between those two states, find x%25 of 8912 that is equal to 3065

%28x%2F100%29%2A8912=3065
x%2A89.12=3065
x=3065%2F89.12
x=34.39% >the change in percentage
so, in Alabama is sold 34.39% more cars than in Texas
