Question 896930: Write the equation of the line through each point. Use the slope-intercept form.
(-7,10); parallel to 2x - 3y = -3
Can you show the work on how to do this? I know the slope it 2/3 but I don't understand how you get it. Answer by josgarithmetic(39630) (Show Source):
Also learn how to understand and use Standard Form.
Ax+By=C has slope which again you can find through solving for y.
The right-member will no longer be -3, but you find what the value of C will be; by evaluating 2x-3y for the point given to be on the line to be found. .
