What is the length of each carriage. My solution: 180 mph converts to 264 feet per second, therefore in 6 seconds = 1584 feet. Divide this bt the 10 carriages = 158.4 feet per carriage. Is this correct?

distance is the length of the train.

180 mph / 3600 = .05 miles per second.

.05 miles per second * 5280 is equal to 264 feet per second.

6 * 264 = 1584 feet in 6 seconds.

1584 divided by 10 = 158.4 feet per carriage.
