OK. 2/3 of 1 is 2/3
So the question is: What part of 3 is 2/3?
Our equation to solve, then, is:
(2/3)x=3 multiply each side by 3
2x=9
x=4.5
In other words, there are 4.5 (2/3's) in 3
CK
(2/3)*4.5=3
2*4.5=9
9=9
Hope this helps--ptaylor
Whoaa. I misread the problem!
So our equation to solve is:
3x=2/3 divide each side by 3
x=2/9 =0.22222=22.2% or 2/3 is 22.2% of 3
Sorry!!!!!!!:(

This is the same as asking, "What percent of 3 is 2%2F3"?
You can use: PART_NUMBER%2FPART_PERCENT+=+WHOLE_NUMBER%2FWHOLE_PERCENT to figure this out!!
2%2F3 is 200%2F9, or highlight_green%28highlight_green%2822%262%2F9%29%29% of 3
You can do the check!!
