You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Unknown terms on left side, known on the right.
Use the operations you've already learned.
%282%2F3%29%286x-9%29=5x-11
Mutliply both sides by 3.
3%282%2F3%29%286x-9%29=3%285x-11%29
2%286x-9%29=3%285x-11%29
12x-18=15x-33
Subtract 15x from both sides.
12x-15x-18=15x-15x-33
-3x-18=-33
Add 18 to both sides
-3x-18%2B18=-33%2B18
-3x=-15
Divide both sides by -3.
x=%28-15%29%2F%28-3%29
x=5
