Multiply both members by r.
er%2Fd=Rr%2Br%5E2
r%5E2%2BRr-er%2Fd=0
r%5E2%2B%28R-e%2Fd%29r=0
r%28r%2B%28R-e%2Fd%29%29=0

Either r=0 which probably not what you want and will not work in the original equation;
Or highlight%28r=e%2Fd-R%29.


QUESTION:
Why do you show r used in the equation in the expression of r%2Fr?
This is simply equal to 1.
