Question 894202: Angle F and Angle G are complementary. The measure of Angle F is four times the measure of Angle G. What is the measure of each angle?
(I know that the sum of complementary angles is 90 degrees but for some reason I cannot figure out past that. Please help!)

Angle F and Angle G are complementary. The measure of Angle F is four times the measure of Angle G. What is the measure of each angle?
(I know that the sum of complementary angles is 90 degrees but for some reason I cannot figure out past that. Please help!)

Let measure of angle F be F
Then measure of angle G is: 90 - F
Therefore, F = 4(90 - F)
F = 360 - 4F
F + 4F = 360
5F = 360
F, or measure of angle F: 360%2F5, or highlight_green%2872%5Eo%29
Measure of angle G: 90 - 72, or highlight_green%2818%5Eo%29
