the isosceles triangle has 2 sides of 3*sqrt(2) length each and a third side of 5.
the perimeter is equal to 2*3*sqrt(2) + 5 which is equal to 6*sqrt(2) + 5.
this is normally written as 5 + 6*sqrt(2).

2*3*sqrt(2) is the same as 3*sqrt(2) + 3*sqrt(2) = (3+3)*sqrt(2) = 6*sqrt(2).
