Question 893706: Hello my name is Taylor and I am pretty sure that I have a good understanding of the subject but the problem on Math.com has me stumped. The problem is:
3x - 8x + 7y^1 =?
x= -32, y= -7
I substitute those numbers in (ingnoring the redundent exponent)and get a total of 111.
Math.com says the answer is 124
If you could answer this that would be great. I've already had my brother solve it and get the same answer as me.
Thanks
Taylor
