The above log signifies base-10 log. Therefore, log+%28x+-+1%29+=+2 becomes:
log+%2810%2C+%28x+-+1%29%29+=+2
x+-+1+=+10%5E2 ------ Converting from LOGARITHMIC to EXPONENTIAL FORM
x - 1 = 100
x = 100 + 1, or highlight_green%28101%29
