You can put this solution on YOUR website!

4(44 - a) = 64 {four times difference between 44 and a equals 64}
176 - 4a = 64 {used distributive property}
-4a = -112 {subtracted 176 from each side}
a = 28 {divided each side by -4}

Sarah is 28
