27z + 12 > 35z - 4 {used distributive property}
27z > 35z - 16 {subtracted 12 from each side}
-8z > -16 {subtracted 35z from each side}
z < 2 {divided each side by -8 and changed inequality sign}

Whenever you multiply or divide both sides of an inequality by a negative number,
you have to change or flip the inequality sign.
