A train which is 100 meters long is traveling at a speed of 90km/hour.
How many seconds will it take for this train to pass completely through a 300 meter tunnel?
:
Find the speed of the train in meter/s sec
%2890%2A1000%29%2F3600 = 25 m/sec
:
An additional 100 m will added to the length of the tunnel because of the length of the train.
:
time = dist/speed
400%2F25 = 16 sec to get completely thru the tunnel

A train which is 100 meters long is traveling at a speed of 90km/hour. How many seconds will it take for this train to pass completely through a 300 meter tunnel
***
travel time=distance/speed
distance=100+300=400 m
