A train which is 100 meters long is traveling at a speed of 90km/hour.
How many seconds will it take for this train to pass completely through a 300 meter tunnel?
:
Find the speed of the train in meter/s sec
= 25 m/sec
:
An additional 100 m will added to the length of the tunnel because of the length of the train.
:
time = dist/speed
= 16 sec to get completely thru the tunnel
