You can put this solution on YOUR website! Determine whether each ordered pair is a solution of the given equation.
 y=8-4x (8,0), (16,-2), (3,-4)

 y = 8-4x
 1)(8,0)if x= 8  then y = 8- 4*8 = 8-32 = -24  not equal to 0
 Therefore (8,0)is not the solution.
 2) (16,-2) if x = 16  then y = 8-4*16 = 8-64 = -76 not equal to -2
 Therefore (16,-2)is not the solution.
 3)  (3,-4) , if x = 3  ,  then y = 8-4*3 = 8-12 = -4 which is equal to the given value of y
 Hence (3,-4) is the only solution for the given eq'n.
