Question 891945: Hi I need your help on how to make graph on regards to this quadratic equation (this problem has been solved, but I dont know how to make the graph for it)
2/2x + 2/x =1.(2x). (x)
As part of my exercise regiment, I walk 2 miles on an indoor track. Then I jog at twice my walking speed for another 2 miles. If the total time spent walking and jogging is 1 hour,I need to find the walking and jogging rates.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
quadratic equation (this problem has been solved, but I dont know how to make the graph for it)
2/2x + 2/x =1.(2x). (x)
As part of my exercise regiment, I walk 2 miles on an indoor track. Then I jog at twice my walking speed for another 2 miles. If the total time spent walking and jogging is 1 hour,I need to find the walking and jogging rates.
:
Assume x = your walking speed, and y = total time
y = 2%2Fx + 2%2F%282x%29
Can be simplified to
y = %28%284+%2B+2%29%29%2F2x = 6%2F2x
reduced to just
y = 3%2Fx
you can see that when x=3 mph jogging speed, y = 1 hr
