Answer by Edwin McCravy(20056) About Me  (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Your booklet teaches you to replace cot(x) by cos%28x%29%2Fsin%28x%29
So that means to replace cotē(x) by cos%5E2%28x%29%2Fsin%5E2%28x%29
Try that.
sin%28x%29%2Bsin%28x%29cot%5E2x=csc%28x%29
sin%28x%29%2Bsin%28x%29%28cos%5E2%28x%29%2Fsin%5E2%28x%29%29
sin%28x%29%2Bcross%28sin%28x%29%29%28cos%5E2%28x%29%2Fsin%5E%28cross%282%29%29%28x%29%29
sin%28x%29%2Bcos%5E2%28x%29%2Fsin%28x%29

Get a common denominator of sin(x):

%28sin%5E2%28x%29%2Bcos%5E2%28x%29%29%2Fsin%28x%29

1%2Fsin%28x%29

csc%28x%29
