Question 891080: I have a 24 hr candle light vigil honoring 1641 individuals. The idea is to light a candle every 52.65 seconds in order to have all 1641 lit at the end of the 24 hrs. The problem is each candle only last 7 hrs. I can't figure out how many candles I will need total.

You have to light 1641 candles in less than 7 hrs in order to have 1641 candles lit at the same time. This is faster than one every 52.65 seconds.
