You can put this solution on YOUR website! I am not sure how to solve this problem. The problem is 8x -3> -3x^2 I am to solve the inequality algebraically
-------------------
3x^2+8x-3 > 0
-----
3x^2 + 9x-x-3 > 0
Factor:
3x(x+3)-(x+3) > 0
-----
Factor Again::
(x+3)(3x-1) > 0
-----
Draw a number line.
Plot x = -3 and x = 1/3 on the line.
----
Test a value in each of the line intervals::
(x+3)(3x-1) > 0
If x = -10, -*- > 0 is true
If x = 0, +*- > 0 is false
If x = 10, +*+ > 0 is true
------
Ans: -oo< x < -3 or 1/3 < x < +oo
