You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I am not sure how to solve this algebraically.
y=1/3x+1
y=3/x+3
------------
Is it y = (1/3)x + 1 ?
Or y = 1/(3x+1) ?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
begin by setting the two equations = to each other and solving for x
1/(3x) +1 = 3/x +3
subtract 1 from both sides of =
1/(3x) = 3/x +2
multiply both sides of = by 3x
1 = 9 +6x
subtract 9 from both sides of =
6x = -8
x = -4/3
substitute for x in first equation, then
y = 3/4
therefore
x = -4/3 and y = 3/4
