You can put this solution on YOUR website! A tunnel of 200 miles ,in which one train is coming from one end with the speed of 200 mph and one train from opposite direction with speed 1000 mph. a bee travels at the speed of 1500 mph enters the tunnel goes to one train and turn back to second and continues it. What is the distance covered by bee when two trains collide?
-------------
That's a long tunnel.
Those are fast trains, and a fast bee.
-----
Going in opposite directions, the speeds of the trains are added.
200 + 1000 = 1200 mi/hr
d = r*t
t = d/r
t = 200/1200 = 1/6 hour until the trains meet
----
d = r*t = 1500 mi/hr * 1/6 hour = 250 miles traveled by the bee
