You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x-5y=9
-3x+4y=-10
Add together
x - y = -1
Add y to each side
x = y-1
Take the now known value of x and substitute it into the first equation.
2x-5y=9
2(y-1) - 5y = 9
Distribute
2y-2-5y = 9
-3y-2 = 9
Add 2 to each side
-3y = 11
Divide each side by -3
y = -32%2F3
