So you note the speed of airplane with Va and the speed of wind with Vw and you have the formula v=distance/time=d/t and from the problem you have Va-Vw=1150km/2.5h=460km/h and Va+Vw=450km/(5/6)h=540km/h and now you have 2 equations which you add them and obtain 2Va-Vw+Vw=1000km/h => Va=500km/h the speed of airplane and Vw=540-Va=40km/h the speed of wind.Done.
