You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The perimeter is the fence around.
Perimeter = side a + side b + side c
91 = A + B + C
A = 2B + 3
C = 3B - 2
Substitute the known values of A & C into the perimeter equation.
91 = A + B + C
91 = (2B+3) + B + (3B-2)
Add/Subtract
91 = 6B +1
Subtract 1 from each side
90 = 6B
Divide each side by 6
15 = B
.
If side B is 15, then A is 3 more than twice that. 3 + (15*2) = 33
If side B is 15, then C is 2 less than three times that. (15*3) - 2 = 43
.
The sides of the triangle are 33, 15, 43. Added together, that equals 91 -- the perimeter,
