You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sin(2A) = cos(12B)

cos(90°-2A) = cos(12B)

cos(90°-2A) - cos(12B) = 0

We use the identity:

cos%28x%29-cos%28y%29%22%22=%22%22-2sin%28%28x%2By%29%2F2%29sin%28%28x-y%29%2F2%29 with x=90°-2A and y=12B

-2sin%28%28%2290%B0%22-2A%2B12B%29%2F2%29sin%28%28%2290%B0%22-2A-12B%29%2F2%29%22%22=%22%22%220%22

Divide both sides by -2 and simplify the angles

sin%28%2245%B0%22-A%2B6B%29sin%28%2245%B0%22-A-6B%29%22%22=%22%22%220%22

sin%28%2245%B0%22-%28A-6B%29%29sin%28%2245%B0%22-%28A%2B6B%29%29%22%22=%22%22%220%22

Use zero-factor property:

Since we are only interested in A+6B we set only the second
factor = 0

sin%28%2245%B0%22-%28A%2B6B%29%29%22%22=%22%22%220%22

Use the identity sin%28x%29=-sin%28x%29 to make (A+6B) positive:

-sin%28-%2245%B0%22%2B%28A%2B6B%29%29%22%22=%22%22%220%22

Divide both sides by -1 and reverse the terms

sin%28%28A%2B6B%29-%2245%B0%22%29%22%22=%22%22%220%22

%28A%2B6B%29-%2245%B0%22%22%22=%22%22%22180%B0%22%2An

A%2B6B%22%22=%22%22%2245%B0%22%2B%22180%B0%22%2An

tan%28A%2B6B%29%22%22=%22%22tan%28%2245%B0%22%2B%22180%B0%22%2An%29%7D%7D%0D%0A%0D%0A%7B%7B%7Btan%28A%2B6B%29%22%22=%22%221
