You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x= number of adult tickets
y= number of child tickets

35 x + 25 y = 6300 .............1

1 x + 1 y = 200 .............2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by 1
Multiply (2) by -25
35 x 25 y = 6300
-25 x -25 y = -5000
Add the two equations
10 x = 1300
/ 10
x = 130
plug value of x in (1)
35 x + 25 y = 6300
4550 + 25 y = 6300
25 y = 6300 -4550
25 y = 1750
y = 70
x= 130 number of adult tickets
y= 70 number of child tickets
