You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm assuming you meant to say "24 mpg on the highway"

(24 mpg)*(x gallons) = 205 miles

24x = 205

x = 205/24

x = 8.54166666666667

Round up to get 9 gallons. You need 9 gallons to drive 205 miles.

Note: Don't round down to 8 because 8 gallons is not enough (notice how 24*8 = 192 miles)
